We recommend starting with the flattest, heaviest items first, laying them at the base of your skip to create a solid foundation before you then follow with:

• The heaviest and bulkiest items onto your flat base
• Smaller items such as cardboard and packaging crushed or flattened down
• Rubbish placed layer by layer, rather than just stacked
• Bulkier items broken down into smaller parts
